I've worn this cardi almost every day since it arrived and the velvet has this subtle sheen that makes it look way dressier than a basic sweater. The 10% spandex means it moves with me instead of stretching out at the elbows, which always happens with cheap knits. Washed it cold and line dried like

The spandex in this makes it stretch just right without losing its shape after a few wears, and the velvet catches the light beautifully for evenings out. I’ve already thrown it on over three different outfits this week and it’s held up perfectly after hand washing.

I was worried the spandex would make it clingy, but the 90/10 poly blend drapes really nicely without feeling tight. Hand washing is a bit of a chore, but the velvet sheen looks so rich for fall that I don't mind the extra care.
