These shorts have such a beautiful, subtle sheen that they actually look dressier than I expected for lounging around. The 90/10 spandex blend gives them just enough stretch to be comfortable without losing their shape.

The velvet sheen is even prettier in person, and the spandex gives just enough stretch that they don't dig in when I'm curled up on the couch. Washing them by hand is a bit of a chore, but they dry fast and keep their shape.

The velvet fabric is definitely cozy and has a nice sheen, though I wish the fit were a tad looser in the waist. Still, they're warm enough for chilly fall evenings and the hand-wash care is easy to manage.
